What Is Polyester DTY Yarn?
Polyester DTY — Draw Textured Yarn — is a continuous polyester filament yarn produced by drawing and texturing partially oriented polyester yarn. The texturing process gives the yarn increased bulk, elasticity, softness and covering ability compared with smooth flat filament yarn.
DTY is widely used where manufacturers require a combination of strength, dimensional stability, flexibility and textile-like handle. Depending on the specification, the yarn can be supplied in different deniers, filament counts, colours and intermingling levels.

Made-to-Order Industrial Supply
